You Got Served

I'm sitting in a theater during intermission of Chicago Dance Crash's KTF Championship. It's rather outstanding.

I had to kill comments on this site as I was getting slammed by some fucking comment spam bot. No big deal, really, I might just leave them off for a while. If you've got something to say then send me an e-mail.

There's nothing like starting all over again to get something right.

Third Time is NOT a Charm

I almost burned the building down yesterday. Not once, but twice. I do not want to know what a third time would bring.

You see, I have these chocolate chip that are super tasty, and they're even better when they're heated up and slightly crisped in the toaster. The problem was, they kept crumbling and falling onto the heating element. Nevermind that I turned the light/dark dial waaay down, for some reason the toaster didn't even pay attention to that setting.

The first time, I didn't know anything was wrong until I smelled smoke. If fire hadn't been threatening to burn all of my worldly possessions I would have grabbed my camera to show you what three fully-flaming chocolate chip cookies look like in a toaster oven.

My cookies were burned, what's a guy to do? Make more cookies! But this time I would watch them and make sure they didn't burn. Right? Ha!

Again, smoke, flame, fire alarm, blah blah blah.

Oh well. I managed to salvage some of the second batch enough to feel like I'd eaten dessert.

Today I saw the governor of New Hampshire. I don't feel any different.

I probably could have met him, but I likely still wouldn't have felt any different.

Pity Me

Sick. Bleh. Sniffle. Sneeze. Snort. Bleh.

Not Compatible

It only took me almost an entire day to figure out that the wireless card I have in an old crappy laptop for kicking around isn't compatible with the fancy new wireless network I installed after the move.

Great. Here goes another $15 that I didn't think I would need to spend.

Phew!

Well now, that was a lot of work!
